Original Title: Uklad zamkniety
Synopsis
In early 2000 in the Polish city of Gdansk, three businessmen set up a fast growing successful company called Navar. The company and the profits generated attracted keen interest from a number of greedy prominent citizens. Through a secret alliance between them, they succeeded in kicking the businessmen out of their own company by accusing them of money-laundering and getting them thrown into jail and took over as the shareholders of the company. The honour of the three men was destroyed; they were treated like dangerous criminals and had to face inhuman conditions in prison. Then a fight to restore the truth and their reputations started against the local corrupt administration between the ones pulling strings in the shadows and others defending freedom.
Shocking, astounding and revolting, this movie is based on true events…

It’s been long time since there was no such film. “The Closed Circuit” has become a political banner before it was completed.

“The Closed Circuit” by Ryszard Bugajski has been very well-received by the audience. On the first weekend after the entry on screens watched it 100 946 people.
This result is better than the so-called opening weekend in Poland reached such Hollywood blockbusters as 2013 years “Django” Quentin Tarantino and “Die Hard 5” and “The great and powerful Oz” with this year’s Polish production of more interest was met only “Drogówka” by Wojciech Smarzowski.

I have the impression that the film is very strong and will play an important role when it comes to calling the reflection in all people, and particularly those people who have or tend to have from time to time, power over others – told reporters the President soon after the premiere of the film. This is a film that everyone should watch who ever may decide someone else’s life. In my opinion those should watch it, who easily forms judgements. Not necessarily in court, but also in the press, in everyday relationships with other people.
