Evelyn’s life is anything but happy. The relationship with her husband has gone into hibernation and day in, day out she’s terribly bullied by her much younger and arrogant boss.

The indebted courier Frank is doing no better. He, too, fights with perpetual disdain. In order to impress his new and much more successful acquaintance Angela, he plays the wealthy entrepreneur. In search of a fancy present for his adored one, he tears open the parcels entrusted to him and accidentally swaps the contents – and instead of the blouse that she ordered, Evelyn receives a book about medical plants, which gives her the daring idea of a self-brewed laxative agent to avenge her unloved boss… however, that plan goes more than belly-up.A quirky glimpse behind petty bourgeois facades, where horror but also happiness lurk.
